Three Sundays ago we had Evan baptised at our church. For so many reasons this was an incredibly special day for us. We stood before our church & made a coventant with God to nuture Evan in a Christian home, to teach him & guided him as God has called us to do. Our greatest prayer for him is that he one day accepts God's grace for himself, claims Jesus as his Savior & gives his life over to Him.
Evan wore a gown that my grandfather wore when he was a baby in the 1920's. It is a beautiful family keepsake that both of my babies have now been baptised in--along with their mama, uncle, and lots of cousins & second cousins too! My Papa would have been so proud of my sweet boys & I know he was looking down from heaven with a smile on his face.

Our sweet, wonderful family who made it all the more more special that they were there with us for such an important day--we are so, so blessed!
