Whew! We had a whirlwind weekend celebrating this
BIG 3 YEAR OLD (!!!)
this weekend :)
Our sweet Owen is so so loved by our amazing family & friends & they helped us celebrate Owen all weekend long! We kicked off his birthday morning celebrating just the 4 of us at home.

That afternoon we went to Owen's birthday buddy Xan's party to celebrate him turning 3 as well (they were born 1 hour apart!). After that we met the grandparents for dinner at Chick-fil-A followed by frozen yogurt at Menchie's where Owen got to pick out whatever he wanted for dessert--he ended up with York Peppermint Patty with gummy bears...he definitely got to eat that whole bowl all by himself, as curiously, no one else cared to sample his creation :)

The next day we had Owen's Toy Story birthday party with our neighborhood friends. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day and we were able to celebrate in our backyard. We had neon green alien cupcakes while we watched the kiddos run around in the yard enjoying the beautiful sunshine day :)
Last, but not least, I took in cupcakes for Owen's class this week to have one last celebration with his teachers & friends at school. He has the sweetest little class and we are so thankful that he's so loved & cared for at his wonderful school!
Owen is such an incredible blessing to our family & we thank God for him every single day. We treasure & adore this big 3 year old! He is a joy to have around, always keeps us on our toes, and makes us laugh countless times each day. Owen truly is an amazing kiddo and I am so, so blessed to be his mama!
...I am still in disbelief that my baby is 3 years old though!!!!

i can't believe he's 3 either! i thought about him all day saturday but am a failure as a friend and never sent you (or him) any happy birthday messages...glad it was such a happy celebration! happy birthday big 3 year old owen!
Happy Birthday Owen! How are you 3 years old already??? I still remember the first time I saw you and got to hold you- so tiny with all that black fuzzy hair and those big beautiful eyes. I have so much fun watching you grow up! And all your Toy Story gifts!! lucky boy! we've got to get you and B. together to play....she loves Toy Story too! Enjoy being 3 little man!
p.s.- i love the pic w/all the moms wearing their babies. looks like an advertisement! yay for babywearing! :)
